This is a piece that I started last semester and just haven't gotten around to finishing yet. I got stuck on how I wanted to fill in the background with black. I drafted some quick ideas in Photoshop and uploaded them here: [link] so take a look if you have the time and let me know what you think looks best.
I eventually wanted this to be colored in a way similar to Red Cranes ([link]). One of these days... This is india ink + brush on watercolor paper. Photorefs used for girls and irises. |
