This was a b-day present for my friend Maria. I guess this is becoming a series?? Hot hicks with nature elements on horizontally oriented paper?! That means it's time to do something different.

Inked with speedball ink + brush. Girl and twigs colored with watercolor. The background has a initial coat of watercolor, but then on top of that I put some interference blue acrylic, which you can't really see at all in the scan. It looks kind of shimmery in real life.

Reference used: image form "The Human Figure: A Photographic Reference for Artists" by Erik A. Ruby. Seriously my favorite reference book. I have used it for years. The figures are beautiful and natural, and the photography is scrumptious.
