Report a Policy Violation
For those who have many watchers, and for those who don’t have many, it is hard to know how one retains that interest as well as receive more. This article explores the basics of watchers and how we react to certain situations. Although it does not affect some deviants, and the tips are generally related to common sense, we hope the article is a worthwhile read and that the majority learn something from reading this.

X-mas/B-day present for a friend. I'm really happy with how this one came out. I've never tried to create a translucent effect before, so it was a neat learning experience trying to figure out how to make the effect through only flat areas of color with little to no layering.
I have said it in the past and I will say it again: traditional media is where it's at. Photo refs used for the woman and the two cranes. Materials: Woman inked with india ink & brush Cranes inked with india ink wash & brush Watercolor Prismacolor marker (for the blue shadows in the hair and for a tiny bit of detail in the earring) White gel pen Gesso (for the highlights on the birds) 11" x 15" Download for full view |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. You did a nice job with the transparent thing, it looks good. The gray is a little strange, something seems off about it, but that's really my only complaint.
Love the line quality as usual.
Was reference used?
Oh... gosh, I'm sorry but I can't remember the books. They're 1,400 miles away from me right now. One was some cheesy figure drawing reference book where most of the girls are doing risque poses, and the cranes were from some coffee table book about nature. Sorry I can't be more specific!
